Assessment Brief

Unit Hurdle Requirement: You must pass both assessments to pass the unit.

Objective: In this assessment, the student will identify concepts or characteristics of a high-performance organisation and explore how the nominated assessment organisation might maximise the application of those characteristics. Such characteristics include:

  • workforce composition and structure,
  • talent management,
  • governance,
  • risk management structures,
  • CSR,
  • organisational performance management, and
  • responsiveness and organisational structure.

The student will draw from the content of the first section of the unit, related literature and contemporary articles from reputable sources. In this assessment, you will:

  • utilise selected characteristics and the preparation of an individual report including evidence of applications of these characteristics in the nominated assessment organisation, and
  • devise recommendations for implementation within a high-performing organisation.

Exercises throughout this section of the Unit will be used as preparation for the final assessment paper. In effect, the exercises will form components of your final paper.
